Ready and Forward!  We Can - We Will!

The mission of the Ready for Life (formerly called Young Troopers and Direction Cadet) is to preserve history, educate and assist youth ages 12 to 25 in completing their community service hours, community volunteer interns, internships, and enhance and develop entrepreneurial skills and hours on and off line.

Requirements to join:
  • Each youth must submit an application, two letters of recommendation, a statement of intent why you want to join the young troopers.
  • Complete an online or face-to-face interview.
  • Each participant will need to complete 8 or more hours per month in training, volunteering, or community service.
  • There is no fee for participating, however, there are community service hours of 8 hours or more per month to participate.
  • This program is truly for youth who want to stand out in the crowd on educational, employment, and entrepreneurial applications.

Call (800) 670-9049 to set up an interview and submit your application in person.
